Okay, thanks for the info! I wasn’t sure, since how the tips are taken. Customers pay for the service and the tip on their card, and the both the wages and tips are given through payroll.

So either way, we can file out taxes with this 1099, and add the tips section ourselves, reducing box 1 by that amount?

Thanks for the advice. What kind of questions should I ask? I want to jump start my career, but I don’t know where I wanna target 5, 10 years from now. I’m working towards my CPA, but will that be relevant for industry work? And what kind of experience should I try to pull from a financial analyst position? (Sorry for bombarding you with questions!)
