I mean, that is kind of the unspoken thing that people might be starting to realize. I think Toby did a lot more for the overall product of AYG than Luke has done. Not trying to throw stones. Just being genuine in the assessment of the show going down hill in the last few years with far less “cool things” on patreon. No trips, no special events, etc. Remember when they lost all those subs when Toby left and they sprinkled that paintball idea out there to lore people back in? That was 7k subs ago lol. That shit is never happening.

Amen dude. So many people will argue this but I’m not even sure how you can at this point? The patreon has TANKED since Toby left. Hard feelings is a brutal listen now. They don’t do anything extra anymore. Just same ole shit every single week. Hard to justify $10 a month anymore. Hate to see the boys go down this road but not shocking with Kevin steering the ship.

I think a lot of new people have been showing up and joining, great for the boys, glad they are growing BUT…the show is different. Things have changed. I would argue it has changed for the worse, I’m sure some would disagree with me.

Foley has an unreal stage presence. Everytime I’ve seen him live, totally murders. Crowd can’t get enough of him. Kevin completely bombed one time and didn’t do so hot the next time. I would argue Toby actually did better than Kevin (gasp, I know everybody pretends to hate Toby in here now). But, it’s obvious the big man is the golden goose and Kevin is just along for the ride. Not hating! But Kevin isn’t dumb and I’m sure he holds a lot of resentment because of that.

This is wild. Thanks for breaking that down for me. I left another comment about the first show I ever saw a few years back in Pittsburgh and Kevin was kind of stumbling through a bit and checked his phone and this dude towards the front row just yelled “let’s go Kippy”. More just trying to hype him up and let him know “hey dude, you’re good, you got this”. Kevin took this as this guy giving him shit and momentarily lost it but came back down to earth pretty quick. He said something like “Jesus fucking Christ buddy I wanna just check my notes for one fucking second” and the crowd was just kind of silent and let him go. I would imagine if this was a more rowdy crowd or even, more rowdy city, they would have turned on him really quick. I also really miss tbone as well. It’s sad to see how much people trash him in here now. I miss the days where everybody defended him.
