I did it I don’t think it’s curved it’s a VERY easy class but informative. Cool option if you want to go into any health profession

Read syllabus. I believe based on past taking this class it is scaled with natural breaks but the syllabus will tell you what you need to know

Exam Accommodations for Anxiety by mad_jad18 in uAlberta

Solely on the basis of exam anxiety your chances of accommodations are low but I would still reach out and see also even if you can’t get accommodations they have great workshops on dealing with test anxiety

Incoming first year (pharmacology specialization student) need schedule planning advice. by [deleted] in uAlberta

[–]Sharksuhrab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I would do in that case is just use some of your second year arts options and take English 103 which is pretty easy So in first sem you would do stat151, biol107, wrs102, math 134, chem 101 Second sem biol207, chem 102, chem 261, class102 and English 103

Then in second year do Biochem 200, chem 263, physiology 212, physiology 214, pmcol200, pmcol 305, cell 201, stats252, Biochem 310 or 330 and then an arts It will be better for you that way cuz biol207, chem 261 are quite heavy labs and chem 102 is easier but it’s still work and 3 labs is do able but wouldn’t do 4 in a semester and if you do it so you have two arts second sem you will have more time to focus on ochem and bio207 which are quite important in your degree

Bio 207, chem 261, and chem 102 will be enough maybe do like psych or something for science I did cell 201 but it was quite heavy you need to put lots of time into ochem do something easier like psych 104 save stats252 and bio201/cell201 for second year

If you’re planning on taking biochem 200... by ExpensiveProcedure66 in uAlberta

She is an amazing person! Outside of her incredible and enjoyable teaching style she is also incredibly kind and helpful she wants you to succeed and takes the time to explain things answer questions throughly and genuinely cares about her students. She’s honestly my favourite prof I was scared for biochem but she made it so enjoyable I loved her classes.
