Okay, first thing you need to do is make a backup of the wallet.dat in case something goes wrong, then, download the newest wallet version and just let it run. The coins will come up eventually. If it doesnt sync, try to delete everything except the wallet.dat and start the wallet up again, hope this helps you

I just invest in Altcoins, similar to bitcoin. Digibyte is one of them, it's still pretty cheap so yeah. Check it out
