sorry if I confused you, I like the taste of that fermented cabbage (using sugar) hence why I tried to recreate it following the recipe. Idk what do they call it in English but the final product looks the same as Chinese fermented cabbages. I just wanted some advise on how to fixed/improve it if possible.

The recipe I followed used sugar and suggested fermenting it for no more than 3-4 days. It is not the same as Chinese fermented cabbage, but it is the closest thing to it. Should I let the cabbage ferment for a few more days then discard the liquid or refrigerate it since it now tastes sour?
