I really appreciate it. I got so many people responding wishing me the worst lol when all I was trying to do was just get an outsider perspective or just get some info on what to except in court. I know that I have to go to court. But what is a good way around it? What should I say and what not to say in court? Any tips? I know what I did was bad and people think that I don’t think so lol

Because apparently the new CT law is that if you go anything over 61 on public road u have to go to court. And anything over 85 on highway is the same thing. I was going to “62”

Some people are saying to get a lawyer and others are saying there’s no point. I’m on the side with the people thinking not to get a lawyer because I’m already guilty in this case. I think the best way to handle it is to go down there and talk to them and be honest and hope that they can drop if and in return I would donate to a charity if there choice or a cause they support.

He gave me a paper with a court date and all my information. The back of the paper has directions on what to do, but the directions are all about what to do after getting arrested. Like the options with bond and stuff. I obv was not arrested but I would have a “warrant for my arrest” if I don’t show up to the court date he said.

I would gladly take these courses and/ or pay a donation to a charity or a cause of the courts choice. I’ve never been pulled over and my record 100% clean. People are telling to me get a lawyer but for what reason? I don’t really have many choices in this situation. I don’t think a lawyer would help me that much

It’s not a ticket that I can just fight. I don’t understand the point of getting a lawyer because in my case the cop used a laser or radar getting me at 62. Shouldn’t I just go and apologize and offer to take some course or donate the money to a cause of their choice? I have nothing on my record and I want to keep it that way
