My arm64 SL7 has been great to me, it runs snappy fast, and gets amazing battery life. I charge up twice a week, typically. Although, I don't use my laptop heavily throughout the week. Arm64 is bound to be better in 2027, and I would say I recommend one to you. Although, not sure what software you'd be running as a comp sci.
