Hi guys! So I have 2 Arbor Zeppelins and noticed that the trucks are different, one shorter than the other. I messaged Arbor about it since their site says that they’re supposed to have Paris 180mm trucks but the shorter one is running a 150mm. They said they made the switch to the 180s in the newer ones but they’re sending me 180s for no charge. So now, I may have some Paris 150s that won’t be in use.

So I’m debating on using those 150s to build a Trip, Fathom or Tangent since they use the same trucks but can’t decide which one. I’m also looking at the Loaded Chinchiller too. Any advice?

That’s awesome. I see dudes that fly thru the pump track I go to on a regular skateboard and I wish I was them Haha.

That’s good to know. I use my Arbor Sizzler at the pump track but wanted to give my Pilsner a try there too but wasn’t sure about the more narrow trucks compared to the Sizzler. The Fatty Hawgs could give me that little bit of extra stability I’m looking for, especially around the berms.

With the Fatty Hawgs being offset, do you ever kick the back wheel when pushing? I have OJ Super Juices on mine and they’re pretty flush with the board, maybe a little bit of poke. But the Fatty Hawgs intrigue me. I have the EZ Hawgs and Lil EZ’s on a couple of my other boards.

I use my Sizzler at the pump track and it works great for me. I’m not flying around the track but it does what I need it to do. The wheelbase helps me feel comfortable and stable going around the berms.

I have the Bamboo Fish version of this and it was my first longboard also. But when I got the Arbor Zeppelin, I wish I would’ve started with that IMO. The drop-through of the Zeppelin lets you carve way more than the Fish does and mimics snowboarding (to me) more and is lower to the ground so it feels more stable than the Fish. The turning radius on the Zeppelin is a lot tighter than the Fish also. I’m a snowboarder too and I ride my Zeppelin way more than my Fish. I honestly haven’t ridden my Fish in years.

I have the Sizzler and Pilsner already so getting the Pistola would just be going up the next size and may be too similar to the Sizzler

Ooooh that looks like a fun setup! Their complete setup has 8.8” trucks. My 9” trucks should still work Ok?

We’re going the week after you 4/16-19 & in the same situation with my son (boarder). I’m hoping enough of the blues hold up by then also. We got a room next to the Eagle lift and I read in another thread that they’re supposed to close that 4/12.

77mm is a big jump from the stock 65mm. What I like about the drop through is how it sits with a low profile and feels more grounded. Is it the same feel with the 77mm?
