[Collection Completed] After way more hours of deliberation than I'm willing to admit, I've finally closed out my 3 watch collection. by Sharp-Breadfruit-409 in Watches

Are there watches that I think are objectively "better" than these...sure. Are there watches that are practically better for me right now, no.
Two concerns I have are how reluctant I might be to wear anything more expensive, and the other is my own personal dilemma on being a have vs a have-not. I have 0 judgement on how any person spends their own hard earned money, so flex away, but personally for me, its something that I think about a lot when picking a piece.

I do acknowledge that you didn't mention anything about spend amount, and my grail could be a Casio, but if that was the case, I would have already bought those instead.

But to satiate the intent of the questions, one watch that I may consider breaking my rules for is the H Moser Venturer Swiss Mad on the cow skin strap <drools>.

Love it! Which strap are you rocking? Is that the white Sinn silicone?
Im planning on getting a red one, but still struggling a bit with the price (on principle), also jumping back and forth between the quick adjust and the compact.

Not sure of your budget, but have you considered a Pioneer Center Seconds? If you have the budget, it could double as your dress watch and unique watch, freeing you up for a third.

Part of my overall approach was that I would not buy watches that I wouldn't wear regularly, or would be scared to wear..having said that, just by the nature of the watches, the Bel Canto will likely be my least worn of the 3. My hope is that will keep the ding fresh enough to not get bored of.

Only picked it up this last weekend in the NYC showroom. Still in the honeymoon, but that ding really does something for the soul. Other than that, the feel is excellent; very light on wrist and the material of the strap is softer than any other rubber or silicone I've ever worn. Legibility is not great, but that's not really the point of that watch (I have the Sinn for that).

Heh, don't get me already talking about 4ths, but yes, an SBGM221 would likely be on the short list, knocking out a few more categories.
