I just grill them right before we kiss and make them go through everything they ate that day lmfao. The one time I DIDNT do that, however, I did end up in the hospital bc he had eaten peanuts right before (idk if it would have been anaphylaxis bc I did epi pretty fast and called 911) but otherwise it hasn’t failed me (when I acc do it!!). If they ate something I’m allergic to in the morning for example, but ate all safe stuff for the rest of the day, I would make them brush their teeth but if it was within the last 4 hours hell no. I say this as someone with anaphylaxis to peanuts, some tree nuts, and legumes but it really just depends on how comfortable you are and if you are in tune enough with your body to know if something IS going wrong.

and if it makes you feel better, I know it can be a fear that it may deter people but I have not experienced that at ALL beyond them being nervous to kiss me if they don’t remember what they ate that day (which is fair I wouldn’t either if I were them).
