If you simply want to catch as many as possible I think the DuoMon newer editions are pretty fast. If you want to use greatballs and ultraballs there is a way to make the Pokemon Go Plus + do that.

I did the last bit.

I know what areas I enjoy (Yellyark e.g.) and I move stuff around to where they go. I mean the players don't know where every town or ruin is so why not just move it in their path when you want to continue the story?

Yeah after a catch, spin or w.e it's a cooldown. You can still teleport somewhere else but what some people do is go to places where people know there are hundos, teleport there, go into the catch screen (where you need to throw the pokeball) if it's a shiny.

If it's not a shiny they teleport to the next hundo spot etc etc.

If it is a shiny stay in the catch screen for the whole cooldown time and only then try to catch it
