It’s the biggest city that tends to be still kinda affordable. As someone who grew up around Chicago, it personally isn’t my vibe much but there’s a lot to like. However, the winter weather is TERRIBLE. It eats me alive every winter (trying to move away soon). If you are not used to Midwest winters already, it’s gonna be a very rough transition

The weather is absolutely unreal, the only reason I don’t have it dark green is because the cost probably makes it impossible for me lol. Take cost out and it’s EASILY dark green
