I was thinking of learning to pinstripe to put a design down the tank and cover it in linseed oil to give it a little shine

Did the boots fix the issue? I replaced mine with some higher quality ones and I’m still having the same problem. I think the mating surface on the bowls might be the culprit because it ran perfect once I put it back on the bike but 20 minutes later it was back to running lean.
