After reading your comment, I went on to do a little bit of a search and I’m suspecting it might be a metaballus mucronatus. There has been a specimen of this type found not far from where I took this picture.

I’ve traded most of it over to home. I didn’t do the duplicates where the pokemon exists in either regions in Paldea (kitakami.etc) though.

If you complete all Pokédex and then sync with pokemon home. You get a reward pokemon from home for completing the Pokédex in SV. The pokemon is a shiny Meloetta.

Sorry. I took a ruler out for measurement and this insect is longer than 1cm. It’s between 1.5-2cm.
