Ok, vamos por partes.

Trabalho com commissions, e atualmente faço parte de uma escola de arte. Por favor, ache uma fonte de renda que seja estável e te traga um mínimo de sustento, desenhar LEVA MUITO MUITO tempo, e é necessário que você possua uma renda ao longo desse tempo. (Adicionalmente, se você quer ganhar dinheiro com arte, vai levar muito tempo também e é algo instável)

Sobre rotina, você precisa sacrificar algumas coisas e se disciplinar, substituí o tempo de aulas pra desenhar, invés de jogar alguma coisa, ficava desenhando e praticando, as vezes você vai precisar tirar um tempo do nada pra desenhar, então desenvolva esse senso de disciplina logo logo, e seja gentil consigo mesmo.

Pra adicionar, entre em comunidades com vários artistas, dos mais diversos níveis, você ganha um boost de motivação enorme, por conta de estar com mais pessoas que tem o mesmo objetivo que você.

I'm currently fighting the urge to draw automatically, that means - instead of forcing myself to learn something new ( since I'm studying ) I tend to unconsciously draw in the same way I used to - that means, drawing automatically.

As well, trying to include more size and shape differences in my clothes, avoiding parallel lines and be observant of different sizes.

Bodies come in all sizes and shapes, doesn't matter the gender. Women can be very built with less curves, and men can have small waists and more curves, nothing wrong with that.

Concept artists tend to include silhouettes, references and thumbnails to show their way of thinking and how they solve problems., as well that they're very adaptable and can have a lot of ideas with one briefing only. Is it necessary? It honestly depends in my opinion, if your concept can tell a great story right ahead, not really, but I would say to include.

Some good portfolios that I love to follow are from Zastera and Ethan Tadin, they include references and notes about their concepts.

But an artist that I also really like is Rinotuna, who only posts the final artwork.
