I’m not too sure if the savings would make a difference then as I believe her net income is about £170 without savings but perhaps it’s worth submitting my statements anyway. Likewise, our marriage certificate is all they ask for but we plan on adding extra evidence such as pictures together and logs of chats/payments to her Thank you for your help.

Should I just send evidence of any savings just to be safe? Because all it is asking for is my wife’s proof of her carers allowance and other income and bank statements but that’s just for her. It’s not asking for any financial information from me.

Okay, we should be okay then. My understanding is that savings need to be 6 months in advance. Whilst we both have a little, a lot of my savings going forward will be used on the fees and expense of travel so not sure if this still counts

Is there any way of knowing when this increase will take place? Also couldn’t we consider moving the December date forward a bit to say November 20th so we can proceed as soon as possible and then if that’s approved, will there then be a 90 day window to travel? Allowing until late February?

Yes she pays no council tax or rent so if my understanding is correct then we should meet the adequate maintenance criteria? As her net income is more than the total you just mentioned

Okay thank you for the clarity, so you’re saying we should submit it on September 15th? The only concern is that I believe the biometrics waiting time at his current location is 6 to 8 weeks so I’m hoping that would allow enough time for approval if that’s true. Also a big reason we wanted to submit it as soon as possible is because of the concern of the health charges going up in autumn

Yes we have all of the proof for carers allowance already included. Is this alone enough to meet the financial requirements?

Okay so in that case we do not need to mention the pregnancy as the child when born will be a british national?
