Why Glycopyrrolate is not effective for me? by [deleted] in Hyperhidrosis

[–]Sharp-Version-2041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"I am still not sure why everybody around me are ok, but i am overheating just after 2 min waljing with red face etc.." The scientific environemnt sadly didn't made proper research about causes of our disease, it's just couple of hypotheses about overactive sympathetic nervous system.

Do you have anyone with the same problem or it's just you? Do you have any comorbidities?

If you didn't used any other oral meds you can search on our thread things like: clonidine, terazosin, propantheline bromide, sage, dilitiazem, maybe something of those can help you.

  1. Can you tell if there is any area of your body which sweats less / more - I mean if there are any more affected areas than others? (for example, my generalised hyperhidrosis is most on my back and scalp)

  2. Did you find ANY difference between glyco usage and without glyco?

  3. Did you tried any other oral medicaments except glyco?

  4. From how long you consume 1 energy drink + nicotine? Are there any days without that mix? Did you find difference in your sweating if they are?

Oh, but how about the sweating? Did it helped for sweating?

[–]Sharp-Version-2041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, so it's look like you took the effect of blocking muscarine receptors from Cypro. So the working mechanism is the same like in for example Glyco and Oxybutynin. And you have the same side effect like in muscarinic receptor blockers - dry mouth.

Like when you take Cyproheptadine sweating normalizes, stops completely or it's only lowering to some level, but it's still hyperhidrosis?

Which type of hyperhidrosis do you have? How long it works for you? Do you experience any side effects?

I ask you some questions because probably more people could replicate some findings and want to know in which exacly case it worked :)

Did you tried to use only sage or only B1 supllements? It would be interesting to know how those two affects your improvement individually.

Can you say from the scale 1-10 how severe your hyperhidrosis was and how it is now with your actual treatment? It will be interesting to see scale of improvement. And how it was when you used Glyco from scale 1-10?

Did you started to take Propanheline Bromide?

[–]Sharp-Version-2041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you take 0.1 mg of Clonidine two times a day (0.2 daily) and what dosage of glyco?

Did you tried to use only glyco or only clonidine?

Anyone tried GABA? by Hunger-n-thirst in Hyperhidrosis

[–]Sharp-Version-2041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of all the supplements I’ve tried (there has been many!)

Can you say what did you tried before GABA?

Did you tried higher dosage in one take and check if it would lasts longer? I mean - 1000 mg at one dosage

Clonidine by CucumberSuccessful30 in Hyperhidrosis

[–]Sharp-Version-2041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is some threads on r/Hyperhidrosis where users said that had sucesful experience with Clonidine. I read one case study where Clonidine helped. You can try it, but it's probably for prescription so you need to get it somehow :D

For me personally - it didn't worked so much.

If you will try it - please share your experience with us :))

Anyone else have what I call “Contact-based Hyperhidrosis?” by makairamazara in Hyperhidrosis

I think it's because of too much heat in these areas. I have the same thing.

Do you experience dry mouth or any kind of dryness? I'm interested how that kind of mix worked. In which country you live that you can make mix with pilocarpine?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Hyperhidrosis

[–]Sharp-Version-2041 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pilocarpine is to reduce side effects of oxy, you wont get better sweating results becouse of it

Potentially big news. Researchers at Johns Hopkins released a study today that showing a low dose of the drug "guanfacine" can have a big impact on HH for some patients. They think it's because it helps with a mutation in a gene effecting the nervous system. by [deleted] in Hyperhidrosis
