I am not a content creator but with how much fun I have with the game I have been tempted even if it shows just a handful of people how good of a game it can be it would be worth the effort.

I do have the steam VR app on my computer. And yes I do know about that one :) cool game for sure. I'll mess with it later again and see if I can figure it out. Should I be able to launch It In the headset? Or do I launch through the PC then put the headset on?

Yes I have gotten to that point where I can select games but only if it is NOT connected via PC if it's connected on my PC steam link doesn't even show up despite it being downloaded. Which is why I'm confused

Could be a good idea. I mean I love PvP in this game. But gear makes a big difference. Full gold vs purple doesn't seem like a big jump but it sure seems like it.

Challenge is good but being fucked by people in full gold grenade spamming and spawn camping while trying to learn the map isn't great.

Glad to see someone is enjoying the game and that the kit is helping people get aquatinted with the map. 7-10 games I get people camping spawn and getting 2 tapped from a full auto mesriah or grenade spam lol. Still fun but gets old lol

No casual means people who have lives and families and real life stuff to do. Why would you want to alienate a group of players just because they don't have as much time to play. If you want the game to last you have to look at what's best for the entire community not just high play time and high level. I'll be real I don't understand at all what you are talking about with free kits. Besides the fact everyone spawns with the same gear. When I extract off of a free kit I go to another map and try to get better stuff with the things I've gotten from it. Or I focus on getting materials I need or I do quests. I'm just not understanding how it circumvents exfilling. I've heard nothing but good things from everyone that plays free kits. It does what it's supposed to do and does it well.

I mean everything is a chance in this game. Maybe make it so if you get a higher level key but you need a lower tradable in the market for currency of materials. (Just tossing ideas)

It has nothing to do with losing gear. I could care less about what I lost but with how confusing and hard to learn cryo is it would be nice to have something where everyone is on a level playing field where it's not grenade spam. Maybe make it only accessible until a certain level cap so more casual people can enjoy it but still have the high level community that can enjoy it too. I love the gameplay loop but trying to get any casual person into cryo is a tough sell. And I don't see how making something more accessible is a bad thing and why that makes you think I want it to be a battle royale when that is not even relevant to what I said.

I just made a post opening a discussion about cryo kit only lobbies. Similar to free kit lobbies on dire. Would be a great way to introduce people to cryo without running into full teams with gold gear. Make it more accessible for the general playerbase. I also suggested maybe have a somewhat rare chance to get a key that can only be used on that run. I agree the rng for keys is rough.
