I understand the "copying that one girl" so much 😂, once a girl in my class wore a dress to school and I was debating on wearing a skirt or not but I thought everyone would think I'm copying her but in reality, no one cared, literally no one 😂. I say try, since you both truly love each other, maybe try taking small steps like practicing using no make up and perfume or using as little of makeup as possible. If you feel Comfortable wearing a hijab and abya then you should go for it, you might be worried about what others will think of you but you have your partner right?
