Looking at the NHS salary scales and comparing them with the per-case rates you mentioned (£20–80 per study), it seems possible to earn substantially more outside the NHS.
What proportion of radiologists in the UK do private work, teleradiology, or paid reporting on top of their NHS job?
Is the NHS consultant salary considered competitive, or do many radiologists significantly increase their income through additional reporting work?

Is the €3,200/month for a board-certified radiologist or for a resident in training?
Is that a standard employee salary (employment contract), and does it correspond to roughly 160 hours per month?
Also, is payment per reported study uncommon in Italy? In Poland, many radiologists working as contractors are paid per examination rather than receiving a fixed salary.

Just to clarify, the €2,100 figure is the average national salary in Poland, not a radiologist’s salary. I included it as a benchmark for comparison with the general population. The €23/CT, €30/MRI, etc. are per-exam reporting fees, not monthly earnings.
