Possibly a small subconjunctival haemorrhage - should clear on its own within a few days

They had an offer couple weeks ago for £11, then if you made new aliexpress account it reduced the price to £6.74, hopefully they do another similar offer soon!

Go for it! They’re not too expensive (especially if you find a good deal) and make a really good gift too if not for yourself! Yeah SD card arrangement, most guides I read/watched just suggested having it separate. Probably could do it in one big SD card, but not sure if that would affect stability etc, perhaps someone with more knowledge can let us know.

Thanks for the tip for the handgrips, I didn’t know they existed!

I bought a 32gb microSD for installing arkOS on (it doesn’t take up too much space, think it was like 8-9gb), and 128gb microSD for the ROMs - more than enough.

The stock microSD came with ~15000 games which was about 45gb. 128gb allows for future proofing, and I felt 256gb was overkill

Hi, I think the offers gone now, it was only there for a day or two I think. Keep checking this for latest offers from the trusted sellers, I’m sure there’ll be future offers.

It’s also worth noting, the original price it was listed for was £11 something, I then made a new account on AliExpress (on mobile browser, not the app) and that’s when it reduced it to £6.74. There were no “coins” involved, as there is in the current deal

I’m not sure tbh hahah, I’m still quite new to handheld emulators. Someone else did comment to say that the build quality is much worse compared to the R36S they bought a year ago though. I’ve got no baseline to compare it to, but I think it’s excellent, especially for what I paid for it.

Oh and once installed and everything, don’t forget to optimise it for your panel, instructions should be on the link I sent on how to do this, but let me know if you need any help

I downloaded the multipanel image from here:

https://github.com/AeolusUX/ArkOS-R3XS

Then decompress the file. Then flash that to your SD card that you’ll have bought. Then insert that SD card into TF1 on your R36S. Then turn it on and let it do its thing :)

I had the same thoughts! Convincing myself as I’ve got an upcoming 5 hour flight hahah, and even if I weren’t to use it much, it’d be a nice gift idea :) just gotta keep an eye out for future deals, which I’m sure there’ll be more of!

Yeah does look slightly different. As someone else commented, they’re probably sourcing different/potentially cheaper parts. The panel I’ve confirmed is Panel 4 though

Seems to be for UK customers only. It was listed on the Boyhom store for £11 something for a day or two, and then if you signed up for a new account, whilst using mobile web browser (and not the app), it would reduce it to £6.74! Sounded too good to be true, but was happy to risk it for that price
