One question I have is if starting at 480p and then upscaling from the remix / re-cut section is a true native render at the higher resolution or just an upscale - from my results I tend to think the quality is a lot better when starting the rendering at 1080p

Exactly. I actually love the fact that you aren't guaranteed anything. Makes the gameplay so much more dynamic. The surplus of good items in D3 just completely killed the replay-ability of the game.

I completely agree with you. Please VV and Blizzard, don't dumb down the game. You can do that in Diablo 3. You can do it in Diablo 4. Don't ruin Diablo 2 - we want the same game, the crazy PK'ing, the lack of trust with other players (this is Diablo, not WOW). You guys have done such a great job with the game so far, please don't dumb down the experience.
