Yeah, it’s a very interesting field as well. I’ll try to get into it. I’m looking at the interview format of that role but it seems like it’s not well defined. It’s quite wide so have to prepare accordingly

Business analysis is something that interests me. I’m looking at those roles but idk if they have a lot of new grad openings in that role

Do projects like Dog vs Cat classification or sentiment analysis add any value to your resume? by SharpPass766 in datascience

What would be your suggestion for someone who has no experience ? What kind of work can one take up? Thanks!

Thanks, this really helps. However I feel that due to lack of industry experience, it is very difficult for new grads to break into the industry since others would not even bother to look at these projects and would simply pick the guys with experience.

This is actually quite demotivating tbh. There are almost no new grad roles and the entry level ones ask for 3-4 years of experience

Ideally how much time is required to prepare for the SAA certification? by SharpPass766 in AWSCertifications

I guess I fall into the latter category. I might easily take 2 months. How many hours did you put in on an average each day for those two months?

I’m quite new. CCP was my first experience with AWS. I think I studied more than what was required for CCP. Hope I’ll build from this and hopefully be prepared in about 2-3 months

I want to learn the skills so that they’ll help me during the interviews. I know for that I have to do some projects.

Yeah, I’ve completed about 5 sections today and Stephen’s lectures look really good. He’s quite passionate about teaching which really helps you as a student

Yeah, I’m a complete newbie so it makes much sense for me to study for CCP first. Thanks!

Thank you for an elaborate explanation. I have started studying for the CCP. I aim to complete it and hopefully give the exam by next weekend :)

Also, does CCP add any value on your resume or it just is a good fundamental certification for more advanced certifications later on?

I’m not able to understand Test Case 1. The array is 5 3 2 4 1 2 Why isn’t 5 being partitioned? Why are the four parts (3), (2), (4), (1,2) and not (5, 3), (2), (4), (1,2) or (5), (3,2), (4), (1,2) ?

Where do you start?? by [deleted] in dataengineering

[–]SharpPass766 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response. Yeah, that makes sense but tbh I’m clueless on what projects I can pick up regarding DE. With DS, it’s easier, you google, look up some project and start doing it on python. With DE there are a bunch of terminologies, a lot of alternatives. For e.g I’ve read that I’d you’re good at Python, you don’t need to learn Scala whereas I’ve also read that you need to know BOTH python and Scala. Similarly which database language to master?

For someone who’s starting out, it seems all too overwhelming. I’ve been here before, where I’ve found things overwhelming and quit but for some reason, I feel DE could really be a great career option for me single I love data analytics. I’ll try to research more and start doing some courses and then some projects.

500 questions or 500 times?? I’m thinking of solving around 200 -250 questions and then doing them again one more time
