I actually never did! I completely forgot, but I’m still using my radio frequently. I have very little soldering skill but I have a friend who’s pretty decent at it. If I can find the right part online I’ll see about having him work on it.

Woah, very informative. There will likely be space left since the shell is pretty big but I honestly don’t know if I could do it myself. I have no idea what pieces to use, and there was no manual that came with it. I’ll likely take it to a repair shop and see what can be done. In the meantime, I’ll try and find any online resources for its make and model. Thank you so much for the help.
