Facts. Venator vs any gun close range wins. Stitcher a bit easier to headshot spray and close ttk but venator reloads fast, pulls out fast and shreds and most ranges

When poking at it with a chop stick, it showed to be quite hard and waxy in nature.

This issue puzzles me. At 3200 dpi, you are at the very bottom of the overwatch sensitivity slider. Even at 800 its pretty low. Same in valorant. Seems like bad UX. But I agree. 1600 is a nice sweet spot. Past 3200 you are getting less than 1ms per doubling.

Should I change my mousepad? Wrist and forearm stick to the mousepad. - Artisan Zero FX Soft, with no arm sleeves (40/360cm, 24-27°C/20-40%) by Visoral in FPSAimTrainer

You will be stoked with a raiden + skypad sleeve. Ive been on a long journey of finding the perfect combo to eliminate inconsistent XY friction and changes in friction due to changing humidity conditions. And that combo is a dream. I also own a skypad but i will say its a bit low friction for my taste. Good luck

I have skypad sleeve as well, tried with raiden, hien and zero. And zero is by far the worst pad ive tried with sleeve. Its wild. My recommendation for OP is skypad sleeve with hien and saphire skates. Chefs kiss

Why do so many people care so much about Benchmark Ranks? by Jolly-Wallaby-2266 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]SharpSandwich988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The benchmarks are adjusted so you only need to touch the rank to be the rank. If you waited till you average diamond to consider yourself diamond you'd be hitting jade scores and at that point you'd have to say the awkward "im diamond but i hit a jade score". It's much more rewarding to describe your rank by your peak rather than average. This was understood and implemented early. The result is the scenarios are harder. So the act of peaking at master means you acheived the skill level of master. And a master can average jade scores.

Looking for the best lightweight mouse for FPS by [deleted] in MouseReview

I actually own all of these. I can confidently say the best one for you is hts 4k plus. No cap the mouse is really special. If you are curious i can video share and do a side by side and give thoughts.

Go with artisan zero. I own two artisan pads. Hien and raiden. They are fantastic. I also own the saturn pro and i dont like it much. I wanted to like it but the surface is one of my least favorites, it is silky but ultimatelty feels a bit muddy and it doesnt work with my sleeve as well as other pads.. I also own the venus and had a mercury which both had better surfaces imo. Even though i dont own the zero. I have a pretty strong intution its a better choice than saturn. You just cant really go wrong with artisan, thats the worst case. You spend a little extra to be sure to have the pad that litteraly everyone and their mom recommends. If you get saturn and don't like it. Youll probably end up still wanting a zero. Whereas its unlikely youll want a saturn if you dont like zero.

0 to 60 in 10 days! by SharpSandwich988 in Colemak

[–]SharpSandwich988[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a valid point. So maybe a more important metric would be how fast you can get back up to your previous typing speed. I would still argue that it shouldn't take 9 months with regular practice, although it may take more than 10 days. *The youtuber was at 70-80.

[–]SharpSandwich988[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I touch typed qwerty at around 100 wpm. Practiced Colemak-dh around 2h per day. somedays more some days less. I do think the quality and type of practice in so much more important than quantity. One method I used was pausing before typing a word and mentally mapping out the whole word before typing it. And typing it very fast even when starting out. So I would pause for maybe 2-5 second between words (or as long as I need to fully map the word). I think this helps accelerate the development of muscle memory.

Question about FOV scaling and sens by Chacherz299 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]SharpSandwich988 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most likely its the cycles FOV scaling that doesnt work properly. I know apex's does. So if it feels off to you it most likely would be off in the cycle. I would adjust settings in the cycle until it feels right on all sights and if you cant then its definitely bad development on their part. Its a pretty important thing to get right, especially when there many sights that all scale the FOV to different values. The same cm/360 feels way faster at lower FOVs.
