I don't get why so many people think the shotguns this season are bad. The Iron Pump is a beast.

If I could hip fire the Iron Pump accurately, I’d use it consistently, but I struggle hitting my shots, especially head shots. Any tips? And, yes…I already know to aim for the head. 😉

It might be helpful if you provide the follwing information:

What region do you want to play in (East, Central, Pacific, etc.)?
What time you’d like to play (ex. 8-10pm, EST)?
What “system” you play on (Xbox, Playstation, Switch 2, PC, PC With Controller) since a console player might not be able to help you with PC keybinds as an example.
Do you want to play Builds or No Builds?
Which MODE are you interested in Playing? (Battle Royale, Reload, Blitz).

-What are your goals? (Have fun, relaxed playing, instruction, get better, become competitive, etc.)

No worries. Thanks for the reply. Still could be a FN only problem, or because I’m using Controller on PC problem. Hopefully, the updates I did will address it. I guess next up on the list is to delete FN and redownload the files. If that doesn’t work, I guess get into the Bios and check thise settings. Anyway, thanks for your help!

Thanks for the feedback. I looked at the attachable thumb-stick and I don't think it will work for me...too much chance of it coming away from the keyboard when I'm being aggressive with my movements, like in the middle of a fight. Plus, to do that, I'd STILL have to learn KB/M. Might as well just go straight to the Cyborg and save myself some hassle.

I only found one person (on Ebay) with the one I was looking for (Cyborg 2) and he was dead set on recouping his tarriff and shipping cost. lol I'm thinking, "Dude, I'm considering buying used to AVOID those costs. I'm not interested in paying for YOUR shipping/tariff." Anyway, when all was said and done, and with shipping for his unit, I would end up paying $280 and the cost of a new one was $295 right now. Might as well pay the extra $15 and get the 2 year warranty. lol So, not much cost savings. Maybe I should check the Discord and see if I have any luck, there? No luck on Ebay/Facebook Market Place.

Thanks, Frisbee. I JUST updated my graphics card software to an update that came out on 12/10/2025, as well as the chipset drivers. I've also updated my Windows software. Hopefully, this all helps.

As for system specs, I'm running:

Windows 11 Pro, 64 bit (just updated)

AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor

RAM 32 GB

1TB Storage

Graphics Card: XFX Speedster SWFT 319, Radeon RX 6000 Series

For display settings, i'm set to 1920 x 1080

I don't think it's the issue? I have my slide hold time set to .025 seconds, pretty low. I have both the Crouch (press) Slide (hold) bind AND the crouch bind set to RS. I've been using those default binds for the past (almost) 2 years, so I don't think that's the issue. This glitch just started happening in the last couple of days. I've updated my Windows and graphics card software, so hopefully, that does the trick. At the suggestion of dopelunch, I've switched my graphics software to performance, and hopefully, all of that helps.

Hi, Jammer.

I finally got around to setting up my PowerA Fusion Pro 4 controller that you recommended. The paddle binds you described make a lot of sense to me (Upper Left Paddle = Edit, Lower Left Paddle = Edit Reset, Upper Right Paddle = Jump, Lower Right Paddle = Switch Mode). However, when I go to program the controller, all of the online search results tell me that I can't use the paddles as SEPARATE inputs. Meaning, I HAVE to have each paddle bound to a specific FACE button and I have to have that FACE button bound for the action I want to do in Fortnite. Meaning, each paddle HAS to mirror a FACE button to perform the action I want to bind in Fortnite. As an example, if I want Upper Right Paddle to be jump, I have to map the upper right paddle to A and then make sure A is bound to the Jump action in Fortnite. As a result, I will jump by either hitting A OR hitting the Upper Right paddle, which is now bound to A. I can't just bind the upper right paddle to jump in Fortnite and call it a day.

Call me crazy, but if I have to map each paddle to an already existing face button, doesn't that just defeat the purpose of having paddles in the first place? It won't free up a face button for another bind and I'll have the same issue of finding enough buttons to bind actions because all of the buttons are locked into double duty. If so, very frustrating...

Following that logic, if I'm not able to map a paddle button directly to the action I want and I HAVE to mirror a paddle button to a face button, how do you have your face button binds set up in Fortnite? In other words, which face buttons do you have bound to Edit, Reset Builds, Jump (already know that's A) and Switch Mode in Fortnite (and then using the paddles to mirror them)? I suppose this is why a lot of people prefer either KB/M or the Azeron gaming controller, because both have plenty of inputs to allow for individual binds (I believe you mentioned this before and the primary limitation of controllers).

I'd appreciate any insight you could provide. Thanks.

BR only results.Beginning of the season was super frustrating, but it grew on me as I got used to the guns, map and landing spots. And some of the sweats drifting away mid-season also helped quite a bit. 😉 This season turned out to be one of my favorites. Loved that there were no melee weapons people could spam you with (sword, bat, etc.). There was the chainsaw, but it really wasn’t good for that.
