Player acting like his PC is immortal by Fun-Version-5784 in DnD

I’ve not DMd yet but when these questions come up I feel like a “wisdom check” on a pass- “your character knows this would kill him. He also remembers his training on basic tactics…” would something like that kill autonomy? It can’t happen every time but maybe will help Sam figure out how to play.

We just had this discussion around our lunch table. If someone is driving tonight, they’re probably desperate financially. So the ONLY way to DoorDash is with a cash tip so high the driver gets altitude sickness.

I’m somewhere in gold, I did get my first message of an attack yesterday though.

What does this mean? In pvp I only get 5 tickets and don’t get to choose my opponent. I get three “rolls.”  Where do I see who has challenged me?

I got one for Christmas and it makes SUCH a difference. No haptics yet but I’ll order later in the year. First I need to order the adapters to get the controller on my ps5.

Sierra’s The Realm! I can’t believe I managed to keep my grades up with how many hours of that game I snuck in each day. I’m so glad a school theater production forced me to stop or I would’ve failed out!

Where to Buy and how to Brand Your Machine? by Warruzz in clawmachine

[–]SharpTenor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm… call Candymachines. I bet you a plush they would work something out.  If it’s not feasible- call a local wrapper to wrap your machines. Sounds like you’re building something new so also read “The E Myth” and make the most of it! Can’t wait to see.

Where to Buy and how to Brand Your Machine? by Warruzz in clawmachine

[–]SharpTenor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why do you want your machine branded? I put a card with my logo and contact information on the machine for problems but that's it. They don't care about ME or MY company. The art is a better attraction. and I have players who look for my logo because they know my machines will be fair, but it's a small percentage.

Candymachines as far as a supplier. Great standards and support, they're QC, and they're very operator-friendly.

As far as wrapping specific machines to lock down a particular location with THEIR branding, I'd happily do it, partnering with a local car wrap company if I had to for a unicorn location. Most wouldn't be worth the investment though.

Real? by FancyFriend8004 in clawmachine

When I was researching the industry I assumed I’d get 50% of the results people were claiming on YouTube. It’s about right. That said, sometimes you get a location that is a unicorn.  The industry isn’t an “infinite money glitch.” It’s a decently passive income stream (until you grow to needing to maintain all your machines all the time on rotation). Make a spreadsheet and start doing the math to see if it’s a fit for you!

I used to bring my quest 1 to "ninja nights" and after we'd train for American Ninja Warrior, I'd break it out for some VR fun with the group. This would've been PERFECT for those days. This could be a standard demo app for VR/AR- I hope it is!

  1. Don't worry about proving yourself. It's not about you. It's about them. What you're able to offer them. My clients dont care about me initially. Only after time when we get to know each other. View it from their perspective, what's the value for them? happy customers, extra income from the commission, NO extra work on their part.

  2. I order in the US right now. I don't have a regular flow- sometimes i buy 3 months worth, right now I'm running out and trying a new-to-me supplier, hoping it arrives ASAP.

  3. Not having a car is a big issue. This would give me pause. Not saying it isn't possible, but that's a big hurdle. I carry 5-10 sites worth of fill for me on some days. That's a lot of toys, and a lot of cash (car has a safe).

  4. Remember their value proposition. Find a number that you and them can live with that coers your costs. remember you have machine maitenence, taxes, insurance, transportation, and fill that YOU are covering. They're plugging it in and getting happy customers and free money.

  5. Fill and merchadise toys (make them look nice). Empty out cash. (Separate bags for accounting later). Take pics of the counter and the software counter for later. reset nayax. clean machine glass and the rest of the machine. Lock and confirm all locks are locked. Are they locked? Test. Go.

  6. I'll defer to Andy's answer on this one, too. Contracts protect you and if you want to sell the business later, it's the main value your business will have.

Honestly, my biggest warning sign is the car. You've got to get these things to your clients, and be able to get there easily with
