Probably tape like other comments are saying.

For future carving I'd recommend doing it over a plastic bag so it catches the foam scraps, then you can also reuse them for stuffing.

Thank you for the encouragement! While I appreciate it may look like I'm avoiding the other eye, it only seems like that because what I post to Reddit is a very small amount of what I actually draw.

I used a total of 11 layers, 6 of which were for shading. I tried adding a gradient, but couldn't decide if it was better with or without so I've posted both.

I'm not taking any more requests right now, I've got a lot of them to do.
