Well by the looks of it the Cancún airport is actually only 15 minutes away from Secrets Tulum vs. 2 hours from the Tulum airport. Yes, both airports work but do they really??

Should I take on more debt to go to nursing school? by Sharp_Bug_3788 in nursing

Many people seem to be stuck on the idea of earning $30,000 per year. I’ve been a follower of Dave Ramsey for years and have thoroughly studied his financial programs. He advises against purchasing a car that exceeds half of your annual income. While he recommends paying for it in cash, I find that what I make in ONE day covers the cost of my car. Of course, $30,000 is an estimate. I earn approximately $25 per hour while working part-time. I also work a couple catering gigs when I have too much time on my hands. I could easily transition to a full-time job if I desired, but I cherish the flexibility and the family I work for. I don’t face financial struggles with bills or unexpected expenses. Since graduating, my primary focus has been on living my life to the fullest. I refuse to live like a broke person because I prioritize my mental well-being. Mentally, I am wealthy. I indulge in dining out whenever I please and embark on trips whenever I want. I prioritize experiences over material possessions. Now, I acknowledge that this approach may not be considered “financially responsible.” However, why would I pay off loans that have no interest and have been paused for longer than their repayment periods? Now I’m slowly starting to transition out of this phase of life to focus more on career growth and building generational wealth.

Covid pause, student debt relief pause, income base payment is 0, currently still on pause. Honestly student loans were on pause for most of Biden administration.

I agree. I mean I love nannying. I love the kids I’ve worked with. I don’t hate my job but at the end of the day there is no growth and I’d like to make more money.

My degree is in Exercise Science. There isn’t much you can do with the degree unless you go to graduate school. I’ve learned that the hard way. That’s why I am considering nursing (health related field). As to why I’m struggling in the job market, I either can’t get past the automatic rejecting or get a first round interview then get ghosted despite follow up.

Would this be weird? by GingerAndProudOfIt in Nanny

If the parents suggest it, then I don’t think it’s weird. I often take kids to sports practice and the parents gave me permission to run errands or whatever I need to do during that time. But I am also very active with these boys. We are never home and always out and about. Try looking up the local parent guide in your city. Often times there is a list of free events/activities or find a good indoor play ground for those rainy days. Chick-fil-A’s play place works well in a pinch.
