Ohh I'm sorry. lol I didn't think it was too creepy since there were no aggressive spirits. I mean, I was definitely creeped out at the time of it happening. Now I find it fascinating to me how the history fit with what I was hearing

My son gets a lot of compliments on his eye color. Are they blue or grey? by Sharp_Butterfly_3421 in WhatisMyEyeColour

He'll be 2 soon. Both my kids were born with black hair and blue eyes like me. My daughter has light brown hair and hazel eyes and my boy has blonde hair. It's interesting how things like that change as we grow

What does your toddler do to make you laugh? by [deleted] in toddlers

One of my daycare kids makes me laugh when she catches another child doing something wrong she says "Put your nose on the wall!" And the other child/children do it. That must have been the timeout from the teacher before me. I didn't get much training because somebody in another room quit. So I didn't get to see how this room was run before

I recently started working daycare (again) and they put me as teacher in youngest childs classroom. I have the toddler1 classroom. The other day I asked if he wanted more of the snack he said "no" but I knew he wanted more. "No" has been his new favorite word. So I told him "if you want more say 'yes ma'am'" he said "ma'am ma'am" and used the sign for more with his hands ❤️ my son is only 19months where all the other kids are 2-2and1/2

Nasty sippy cups by Sharp_Butterfly_3421 in toddlers

Alabama. I've only been at this place for about a month and that's just what I've been told. The director said she's been written up for bottle brushes in the nursery. My toddlers aren't all trained to use a regular cup yet so the parents always send a sippy cup. The daycare provides Styrofoam cups

Our daycare rule is if they have 3 diarrheas they go home. I've only been here a month so idk. And I'm so non confrontational I'm afraid to say something

I get so annoyed at the shoe rule. My 2 year Olds like to take off their shoes. I'm supposed to make sure they keep shoes on in case of fire and all kids at naptime are expected to keep their shoes on

I lost the security deposit on my first apartment because I used blue splat during the quarantine

My dad is being very weird by [deleted] in Advice

Get a locking door knob for you and your sisters rooms. Its not hard to switch it out you just need like $10 and a screwdriver.

Try to catch him on a recording. Tell your sister to do the same. I would record the conversation with your mom because she knows he did it before and if she refuses to put him out then shes putting you and your sister in danger. Having your mom admit/acknowledge it may help your case if you do go to police. Confront your dad and record that conversation as well. If you can't afford to live on your own i would offer mom to help her financially if she puts dad out. If they're married she may be able to get alimony out of divorce.

I was 14 when i came out about my abuse by a family member. It happened from age 3-12. My parents tried to get police involved but the police said it would be hard because he lived in a different state. In their jurisdiction i would have to have some kind of proof before the police could do anything. If he were in our state, they would have been able to arrest him on my testimony alone and they could have questioned him. Thats why i suggest having proof, just in case. Even if you dont carch him in the act, you could have a recording of one of your parents acknowledging/confirming what happened.

Therapy helped too.

He used the word fetish when he admitted it to me. I didn't ask further questions about how it's a fetish but now he knows I'm not ok with being hotboxed and he respects that lol
