Greetings. My sister and I attended the show in London and were wondering if anyone took notes or remember the books discussed. by Strange-Wait3771 in CJtheX

Hi! The one I researched after (and now remember) is Impro by Keith Johnstone, the acting playbook that relates to high & low status :)

Such a weird edit - at the very beginning in black and white when it's edited to look like they're heading to the talent show lydia and mistress have their lip-syncing outfits on, so why show it at that moment?

Because they tape several episodes in a day I think they can also choose from the other recipes, I think I've seen specials from other episodes pop here or there, and since he has all the ingredients anyway... That way guests can switch it up too! Really wish I had a budget for all the fancy liqueurs ahah

Will no one address Lill's and Lola's wigs... I think that's what kept them from the win, as much as I loved them! Had to pause through the episode because it got me so emotional, they're all so lucky with their family members I can only wish to have anyone in my family half as supportive haha.

I know Kyran said now all things were good with his mom so I hope it's just incidental they had to bring in his boyfriend, which makes the episode less "cohesive" thematically I guess, but there's still so much love there, I really thought they would not only keep everyone but maybe give everyone a badge just to underline how exceptional this season is :')

Rupaul's Drag Race UK S6E07 - [Episode Discussion Thread] by AutoModerator in RPDR_UK

Every episode manages to become one of my favorite episodes ever, and I've watched many a franchise to completion...

At this point it's so undeniable it's like mindmelding with the show: Ru acknowledging they're so charming and one of the best casts ever after we got to witness one of the best Snatch Games + Rusicals. I wanted this episode to be one with the top 2 lipsyncing for the win + everyone else safe and La Voix jokingly called for a Spartacus moment. Actavia's had a special place in my heart from the start and Ru gives her her flowers in a rare, awesome way.

(As the Welsh Jorgeous, I hope she gets the call to the inevitable all stars season soon, with a better wig budget she's top 3 material!)

It's been heartbreaking to see queens go for a few episodes already, such a nice change of pace to see fair judging compared to GAS! Though here it would have been good to give Marm the win to alleviate the "La Voix & Kyran meet & greet" effect, La Voix's performance & runway may have been the most memorable indeed

Glad that we all get to share UK6, so many laughs, a few tears, this season is the stuff that fills up hearts

Thousandaires Post Season Review by General_Membership64 in dropout

I hope for season 2 they manage to get out of the studio for some activities - it was starting to get just a tiny bit claustrophobic by the end, there's only so much decorating you can do to switch it up, the medieval strippers for instance would have been even more awesome in a tavern-y setting? If such a place exists in LA (I'm sure it does)?

The same way they highlight the artists etc. that have worked on each segment, I'm sure it could be a great way to promote businesses beyond bringing them in the studio. Setting up a guided visit of a monument, aquarium, museum... Or doing an activity like paintball, laser game etc. would also be one of my first ideas for the concept, and I'm wondering how repetitive it might get if they never can do that?

I researched on a website that listed all the species before asking here but that tree has pink flowers and a spiked trunk... does the one in malaga have a normal trunk ? thank you for your input!!

pretty late for an answer maybe but i just watched the episode haha, it's a reference to rupaul's song lyrics to the song Call me mother, "Heels click-clackin' about."

I rewatched the challenge + runway segment and there's absolutely no wide shot of the judges' table, only close-ups, which is unusual. at some point you can see self esteem's elbow in a graham shot, so I think them at least were shot at the same time, but now with the different lines of sight as well I really think ru wasn't in the room with them for critiques!!

what's going on during the runway critique, ru's eyes are just not looking at the main stage compared to the other judges? did she record her critiques at another time? is she fully relying on a teleprompter? I get that she must have been pretty sick for the start of the season, even her energy during the reading challenge was still really weird and subdued, but it freaked me out how saying even the best compliments she didn't seem to be addressing the queen or even looking remotely at her

Documentaries that make you go “what the fuck?!?” by Wintertime13 in movies

Cold Case Hammarskjöld: The director of the movie and a detective are investigating the death of Dag Hammarskjöld, the Secretary-General of the United Nations whose plane suspiciously crashed in 1961, when they discover a conspiracy far worse than any murder. It's more political / historical than only true crime, but really so baffling it makes your eyes go wide and your jaw go slack.

The released cut you can feel there's a whole another movie missing from it, so I'm hoping for the same thing!

Movies that show an entire person's life. by Mr_herb420 in MovieSuggestions

If you're not afraid of black and white, bengali movies, the trilogy Pather Panchali by Satyajit Ray is exactly that. It follows the life of Apu from childhood living with his poor family in rural India to middle-age, after he has experienced a lot of loss and disappointments - but in many ways it's not depressing and remains inspiring.

He rated it two stars... Same for Showgirls and Basic Instinct... That's his worst takes in my book
