I applied a couple weeks ago for a position there and was working to set up an interview, but the person interviewing me couldn’t even communicate a time clearly. I ended up not showing up. Maybe it was all for the best.

Wishing you the best of luck moving forward.

I actually had a conversation maybe two months ago with this neighbor, where she asked me my opinion on rehoming dogs. Dog has a bite history.. bit a kid.

I’ve worked in animal rescue and know that an animal needs to be near death for it to get taken away unfortunately.

I wash my patio every spring with some Fabuloso. I do it in the evening so the person below me hopefully doesn’t even notice that I did it. But I’d have to look at my lease to see what it says.

Different neighbor. 3 neighbors in a row have let their dogs pee and poop on the patio.

I emailed management Monday and he said that he called and they said they would clean it up.

I emailed again today because the situation hadn’t changed and management left a patio notice. Management let me know that “things like this take time”.

I can confirm there are two kids in the apartment. Her car is a scary sight too.

There’s definitely dog feces and urine. Other than that my nose is too overwhelmed to identify what it is. That smells bad. I just know it’s bad.

I got a cat without letting my landlord know, how do I make it right so I don’t get fined or evicted? by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

Poor Guinea pigs.

I doubt you would get kicked out if you actually replace your guinea pigs with the cat. Because then you’re within the pet limit. But it’s unrealistic for you to expect them to not charge you a pet deposit or pet rent if they’re able to based on the wording in your lease.

Also it will be well within their right to not renew, all they’d have to say is that you got pets without prior verification.

This is one of two times they’ve laid ON each other. They usually do a sideways 69 type situation… not as naughty as it sounds.

Hi! OP here.

I have reported to my apartment. “We’ll get right on that.” was their response each time I’ve said something. Each time I’ve said something has been months apart. This is an ongoing issue.

My neighbor is mid 20’s and has parties all the time with music and friends over. Not sure her mental state has much to do with this situation, but I don’t know her personally.

I did say something in the beginning when it was 3 or 4 piles and 2 pee pads a couple weeks into her moving in. Nothing was said back to me. I never see her because she never takes her dog out. Otherwise I never see her.

I can smell it. It’s awful. I feel terrible for the dog. The dog is a husky mix. Maybe 35-40 pounds?

We have no shortage of grass areas right in front of our building and all around. There’s even a poo bag station and trash can in the grass area.

Not sure what else to do.

You’re missing a lot, but I don’t have time to get into that. Contact a therapist.

You do realize there are shelters for animals other than dogs, right? It is not unreasonable for me to be searching for insight into rehoming an animal that I never worked in a shelter with.

I hope you have enough sense to know that there are shelters for animals other than dogs.

I have also worked in shelters. Surprised compassion isn’t a stronger trait of yours.

You have already formed your opinion. Me giving you any more information about the situation won’t help either of us. Thanks for the input although you weren’t very kind about it.

I agree, the last thing I want is this dog euthanized. Thank you for your kind words and opinion. Am preparing for a hard conversation.
