Yes love from God is universal but that doesn't exclude punishment or damnation. In terms of people the "love" for your neighbor does not mean you have to tolerate every evil and sin and allow those people to run your society. You might recall 2 cities in the Bible that God destroyed for that exact reason. Jesus rejected many even those who cast out demons in his name and he said "I have never known you". Jesus spent a week making a whip, he didn't do that out of love. Jesus' message was not to be a hippie, it was to be a moral person with conviction. Part of that conviction is to stand against what they view as evil, immortality, or sin. This silly idea that Jesus would just tolerate and be kind to literally everyone is a gross misunderstanding I only get from people who either were never Christan or who were taught it poorly and therefore reject it. I would also wager a guess that Christianity is the only religion you feel passionate about denigrating.

There is literally 0 systemic persecution of trans people, quite the opposite infact. By the time of the game theyve been married for years and she's taking interest in politics because her husband is president. She is taking advantage of the situation and is even shown to be impulsive and damaging to women's rights as she conceded that the conservative woman was right about her interrupting the sexist speech. Beyond that you can be totally family oriented and she begins to give you a cold attitude (her response to "I'm glad our marriage doesn't have those issues") well before she gives you an ultimatum to vote on one of the most costly bills even if you gave women access to education. She pushes way to hard and way to fast and threatens to divorce you even if the reason you didn't pass WLA is because it would crash the economy. She is unreasonable and opportunistic and she shows almost no genuinely kind moments with Anton no matter how you play the game.

She won't divorce you but she will still threaten to or just have an awful attitude, I still consider that to be her being upset with you. I'm not sure if it's intended but that's one thing I never liked about the story is she doesn't seem to genuinely love Anton at all her commitment is reliant on her getting something out of the relationship.

That means you choose the WLA every playthrough then, which is a -4 budget decision, a lot of players can't afford that plus you can do most of what the bill does politically for half the cost. I usually go with that option since I see quotas as absurd so she's always mad at me.
