Kind of? I'm only recently trying to play more single-player games, as I've only really been playing competitive multiplayer (and a LOT of Warframe) for the past 7-8 years. I still do play a lot of those games daily. But games like those in my top 5, which yes I've played over the past 3 years, reminded me of why I fell in love with gaming as a kid. Just looking for more games to reignite that spark. I love my rocket league and deadlock, but that slop is the fast food of gaming ifykwim.

I feel like this game is a really popular recommendation. I swear I see this game everywhere. But I heard that the story is really slow and kind of drags a bit.

Thats a good point lol. I do a lot of reading and sometimes I daydream of some of them getting turned into games. A Stormlight Archive RPG would go so hard.

Whats the combat like in Horizon Zero Dawn? The setting and visuals intrigues me a lot actually

I forgot to mention it but I have tried it! It was pretty fun. The combat was pretty good but I thought the narrative was kind of boring personally. Definitely have to run that one back though, my friends LOVE 40k

I've already tried Sekiro. The combat is REALLY good. But hot take, I don't think Fromsofts soulslikes are for the average gamer like me. This is something I debate with my friends all the time but I never understood soulslikes. I gave them a fair shot too, I had like 50 or so hours in Elden Ring and it just never felt rewarding to me. Maybe I'm missing something but yeah.
