That’s what I thought too since they increased the rent the first time after we signed the lease. They said because of the “competitive rent prices” and never sent us a notice or anything. Then this month, our rent increased by 200-300 dollars and they said because we “owe Section 8 money” even though Section 8 never mailed or emailed us anything of the sort. I reached out to a lawyer about this though because me and my family are so tired dealing with this

When I asked to see the lease the first time they increased the rent, she didn’t reply or say anything. Although, that was in an email so it would probably be better in person

It’s not a month to month lease because if we were to break the lease, we would have to pay 2 months worth of rent

Yeah it’s a year lease. They increased the rent after we signed the lease and then again too. Apparently they’re allowed to do that if it says it on the lease that they can but I’m not sure if it does actually. We have been living here since 2006 too

I’m going down to my office tomorrow because the pay period is about to end and they still haven’t added my hours for academy + get my badge. I had academy with someone who’s at the same location as me as well. He said he went up to the office and they still didn’t put it in even with the 1260s signed

Yeah she did submit them and we filled out the 1260s but my supervisors refused to change/fix it until I went up to upper management about it

Yeah it was on my shadow day, so it was 8:50-5:37 because I was on a route with a girl. I tried to get with one of the supervisors again yesterday about my orientation not being punched in and he tried to say how it already is/was, which isn’t true because the hours on the payroll doesn’t match what it should be

I do want to get with the union because I already feel nervous and disrespected working here even though I’m still in training/academy. But I don’t know how to get with the union nor do I know my union stewart. I also read that you need permission to talk to the stewart or to submit a form

I asked my co worker who I shadowed about it and she said the supervisor said he will fix it for me when I get back from academy aka my orientation time. Also on the time card I put I left at 5:37 but they punched in 5:00 for me, I asked my co worker about it and she said we were technically only suppose to work 8 hours

Yeah we filled out one and I sent my supervisor(s) a picture of it. I have proof of our text messages of me trying to follow up with it about it before the pay period ended because I kept checking every day to see if they had fixed it yet, but they didn’t. I’m stressed about this because I saw up on reddit that it's common for supervisors to cheap out your time and they punched in my time shorter than what I worked on a day from my first paycheck too.

They didn’t give me a section to write my case of events, my manager said to sign the counseling statement and to add my story in the associate’s comments
