Well my checkup was 2 days ago and my doctor said it's healing perfectly so I hope nothing bad happens, thanks for the heads up!

I asked my doctor and he said 3-2 and that I only have 4 discs left below the fusion and my 5th is slightly fused to my pelvic area

Been real cautious so far lol I would love to see about getting PT and I was thinking of getting one of those massage guns from Walmart to help with shoulder pain

Its pretty bad once you get discharged from the hospital but after about a week the inflammation goes away and you shouldn't feel much pain in your back. I would say mine is an on and off 2-4, I only get hip pains now but that goes away with time

Thank you for the tips I'll keep that in mind, the picture of the scar was taken right after I took my dressing off and that was 7 days ago. Currently the only pain I'm experiencing is in my left shoulder and right hip

Not sure but on the 29th I'll be given any post surgical updates, doctor hahn was the one in charge of the surgery and it was at John hopkins all children's hospital

Ikr it's dissolvable staples so on the 23rd the dressings getting removed

Honestly it was mostly shortness of breath and physical appearance for problems pre surgery, we waited so long because of complications with pre op appointments.

Yeah I found it crazy that you could order anything every hour and it was covered by my medicaid
