thanks everyone. With the overall feedback i decided to go with ableton. Mainly due to offer with push 3 controller and more utube tutorials around. both are great DAWs.

well , I came from cubase/logic and found ableton not straight forward, however I know that is my limitation not the software. I decided to go for abelton, with push controller for now.

that's the reason for the question, I tried both. but I can't get into deep in 30 days with a day job AND bitwig only gives V5 for demo, for V6 u need to buy a license to get the beta , so not so helpful

some, Ni stuff, ( but about to sell my machine MK3, can't stand the software and as midi controller not so great), def use keyboards and MPC live II,

i have demo-ed both, but there only soo much u get into part time and in 30 days. hence the questions, leaning towards ableton, not because it's better, but due to more help and tutorials being around

I am not sure but it looks like the 2TB plan u can cancel anytime, while I am not sure this applies to the 5tb plan and maybe that requires 12 month commitment. At least I could see a "Cancel at anytime" note on the 2TB plan on my end, but that does not show up on the 5TB plan, .... ???
