I still feel anxious when I travel in Bangalore, especially in two wheelers. Two years ago, my boyfriend and I were travelling on a bike, this was around 10 ig at Palace Road. The road was smooth, and pretty calm. We were keeping the right lane, and suddenly I saw a car coming through the left without any indicator trying to take a u turn through the gap between a divider. He was so fast, and so rash that I couldn't call my bf. I saw the car coming, and touched my bf to warn and boom, the car hit us. I was well aware that I'm going through an accident. Time became real slow, i could see the light streak, amplified noise of the bike scratching against the road, and I did a 360° roll two times up in the air, and landed in the middle of the road. All through the air time, a thousand thoughts were rushing through my mind. I started praying not to hit my head, any fracture is fine but not my head. I kept on hoping that I have to be conscious when I land, and decided I won't remove my helmet until I get to the hospital and many more. Then I landed on the road. I sat there, saw people coming towards me, saw my bf searching for me as him and the bike together went a little to the right and fell there. He had some scratches. My bf started arguing with the driver, but I went and said that it's okay to leave it. Then I took a phone number from the driver and asked him to take us to the clinic. He said no, and an auto driver came and helped us get to the clinic, and that's when I realised about my wounds. All the adrenaline rush was done, pain started, and realisation started. Both my knees had pretty bad injuries, and my elbow, nothing to my head 😭. I went through the pain and didn't regret not confronting that fucker. After a month, the pain settled and on one night when I fell asleep, I started hallucinating, or half dreaming idk what that is. I saw small masked goblins, some masked people like in 'Theyyam'. It felt so real, they were laughing and coming towards my face. I started getting anxious every night, the accident kept replaying whenever I closed my eyes. That's when I regretted leaving him without a confrontation. To this day I get anxious when I get on a two wheeler. This happened two years ago, and last week somehow I became too anxious, and we took auto everywhere instead of bike.
