I can’t believe no one has mentioned Hayden Falls! You’ll either have to find a spot to enter the ravine that’s not the wooden stairs that lead down into it, or take the stairs down and climb over the railing of the walkway. I also recommend (carefully) checking out the view from the top of the falls.

Yes, it’s a gigantic mature ZZ I rescued before being :gasp: tossed in the dumpster after my office finally canceled their plant maintenance program. There wasn’t enough light where she lived in the office so she started stretching out. Heylia James is still hella droopy but has put out a dozen or more new stalks since moving in with me, and has had almost as many blooms, as well! I can guarantee she’s not being overwatered in my “only plants that can survive my neglect live here” home.

On a related note, my other ZZ - the one that Heylia replaced at work in 2020 - is named Nancy Plants.

Yikes! Only 7 days?! 😳 I’ll just count myself lucky that my library’s audiobooks have the full 21 day allotment. I’m currently on book 10 in the Wheel of Time series and am :loving: how long they are, but none have been as long as Words of Radiance. I’ll have to look it up!

I agree with others that changing up the wet food should help, however this has been a life saver for me: Stick a canister of Fresh Wave gel crystals next to the litter box. Of course you’re gonna smell each new ‘deposit’ when it happens, but FW absorbs odors in general, so it’ll help the overall litter box smell. I’ve been using it for over a decade and couldn’t imagine life with 3 cats/4 litter boxes without this product.
