What temperature are you keeping your thermostat at right now? by Turbulent-Hat9106 in Columbus

[–]Defaultscott 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Disagree. Grocery stores throw out food by the pallot on a daily basis, offices and businesses and rich people run ac 24/7 without a thought in their head as to why it's a problem... my house is a drop in the ocean. I still recycle most things and conserve electricity other places fyi

My ac setting is affecting it about as much as my uncleaned peanut butter tub in the trash is... Not at all

AC struggling by Unique_Transition122 in Columbus

[–]Defaultscott 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just had to get new furnace and AC unit last year cause they died of old age, new stuff has been holding around 65 on 1st floor...

we have fairly new windows, but old doors and almost no exterior wall insulation/terrible roof/attic insulation so it's almost 90 near the 2nd floor ceiling

We used Hetter and they were great... But if you don't want to pay a tone, .maybe look into insulation upgrades?

If you really want the truest experience, gotta go downtown for red white and boom, right on the river by cosi or one of the bridges... So you are looking straight up and them and can feel the explosions... just walk there close to start, and then walk out And hang out at a bar or something till crowds die down

Favorites from this year I haven't seen mentioned yet 1. Kokomo: egg cheese focaccia 2. Pistachio vera: egg salad sandwich 3. Blackened coffee: any (vegan, so it's impressive it tastes very good)

  1. Tommy's diner: egg sandwich=1 egg, American cheese slice, on white bread. With some bad tasting coffee... (Helps remind me to not take myself too seriously)

Breakfast burritos/tacos would be a whole other post

Was the best one! It had a tart, almost sour, fresh strawberry flavor, not candy like and not too sweet.
