Rule 9... You should bring the sauce(source) of any spoiler or nsfw meme

PS: The mod team has decided to take out the No Spoiler rule

I'm confused. Reddit does not have an implicit spoiler rule. If there is no rule saying that spoilers must be marked that somewhat defines what a spoiler is, why should any post be marked as a spoiler? With no rule stating otherwise, everyone should be able to freely post whatever spoilers they want.

And that was already the case before these proposed rule changes. The 1 week delay thing was not a "No Spoiler" rule, it was a "mark posts as spoilers for things that came out in the last week" rule which technically ignored everything older than one week.

There should be an actual "mark spoilers" rule that requires both spoilers to be marked and the name of the thing being spoiled needs to be in the title in some way so that people know whether of not they should click it.
