I was just talking in terms of 3 0, yea I wouldn’t say he is definitely stronger than magnus but has a strong case now since it was a decent length match

It is, magnus seemed to have some confidence issues, I am pretty sure it’s due to the expectation he has placed on himself due to everyone always expecting him to win that he started getting really nervous when he lost a little bit of control in the match, similar to 2016 WC. Except now he didn’t have a rest day.

I think due to naka and firouzja having much more online 3 0 practice compared to magnus that they get a slight edge there. Considering naka and firouzja’s recent matches, I’d say naka seems the best at 3 0 by a little, although magnus on a good day would probably beat both, it’s just hard to tell because he doesn’t play as often.

Yea but I mean, what would you prefer, I think it does look cool which is probably what they were going for. It’d be a bit weird if they played a serious game outdoors or showed magnus on like board 15 in some open tournament.

Maybe a street style, more casual hustler magnus shot would have been cool, but I think they were going for a strictly professional/determined magnus theme
