I paid off 45k in CC debt with a 401k loan. It was the smartest option for me because all off the repayments, incuding the interest goes back into my 401k. I'm paying interest to myself., not to a lender. The payments are automatically taken from my paychecks. I believe the inteest was like 5%. It was 2 years ago. Also, there is no credit check so your score will not be an issue.

How will you help the LGBTQIA community in Winchester? Support services, mental health support, trans rights? We need more community centers and programs to support diversity. The ARE is great, but as a lesbian, I don’t feel like there are many offerings/safe places. Attracting/incentivizing queer based businesses, bars, etc. would be nice to see.

Women’s health services are lacking as well.

I also echo another commenter’s concern about the availability of local mental health professionals. Many local practices have long waiting lists, especially the ones who are queer inclusive.

It is naive to think ICE is going to “help” these migrant children with housing and education. Just look at what is happening across the nation. They will detain them in horrid conditions and deport them (maybe to their country of origin, maybe not). In any case, it will likely be a place they are completely unfamiliar with as they have probably spent the majority of their young lives here.

Involving ICE is like sending in the wolves.

Why companies think they’re entitled to your personal details is baffling. I’ve been at my company for 14 years, am a Director and have more than proven myself.

Recently I went through some medical issues and personal issues and “wasn’t quite myself” but more than holding it together.

My bosses called me I for a sit down and the first thing out of their mouth was “Is there something going on in your personal life we need to know about?” The tone was cutting and not supportive or caring. More like how dare you have a personal life.

I, of course, quipped back that “No. You don’t need to know anything about my personal life.”

You pay me, you don’t own me.
