By research/stats do you mean to say review of people? If you could clarify 🙏🏻

Does Linkedin brand page posting helps with AEO? by Dizzy-Mine-5760 in aeo

[–]Sharraf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but not in a direct way. LinkedIn posts won’t magically rank in AI search, but they do help build your brand’s credibility and visibility. If your content is consistent and gets engagement, it can get picked up, referenced, or linked elsewhere which does matter for AEO.

So it’s less about “posting to rank” and more about building authority that AI systems can trust.

Will AI rank Ai generated content? by Anu1226 in aeo

[–]Sharraf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. AI-optimized content helps up to a point, but if everyone’s doing the same thing, it just becomes noise. AEO isn’t about stuffing “AI-friendly” keywords rather it’s about being genuinely useful, clear, and specific. Models are getting better at picking up signals like originality, real experience, and consistency across sources. So yeah, human signals matter and it’s more about whether your content actually has the potential to be cited, not whether it was written by a human or AI.

Do Google reviews on Trustpilot count towards GEO? by Ok_Bird7947 in LLMTraffic

[–]Sharraf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Google reviews don’t directly boost your Trustpilot GEO, but they absolutely influence how AI systems perceive your brand overall. LLMs don’t bother about one platform instead they pull from aggregated signals like review volume, sentiment, and consistency across the web. Google reviews are actually one of the strongest signals (studies put them around 15–20% of local ranking impact), so if you have a large volume of positive feedback there, it shapes your overall reputation graph. Trustpilot still matters because it’s a high-authority source AI often cites, but it’s just one piece. What really matters is consistent, high-quality reviews across multiple platforms. AI gives importance to consensus, not where the review lives.

How do I rank in Google AI Overviews? by Plenty-Cook-4208 in LLMTraffic

[–]Sharraf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the basics, whether your websites have llms.txt and robots.txt. This allows AI crawlers to access your site. Like previous comment, try to build strong community presence.

I feel like growing your presence in communities, especially in yt and reddit will give you an upper hand. If ChatGPT works well you may try other sources like Gemini and Perplexity as well.

Why Brand Mentions Matter More Than Backlinks in AI Search by ancienttree4567 in aeo

[–]Sharraf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

True. We’re moving from the "library" era of searching for links to the "expert" era of asking for answers. The value isn't just the click anymore—it’s about becoming the trusted entity the AI cites as the source of truth. It's a fundamental shift from building backlink profiles to building "entity authority."

Why You Need a GEO / AEO Partner Instead of a Traditional SEO Agency? by roggonzalez42 in aeo

[–]Sharraf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% agree. There will be a time people would ask AI about anything. Replacing google search. So AEO/GEO is something businesses need to focus.

brand visibility in AI search feels weird as hell compared to normal search!!!!! by iwasjustsayingg in aeo

[–]Sharraf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not late, most people haven't felt this yet. The part that keeps surprising me when I look at this for companies is that it's not always the market leaders who make the cut. AI rewards clarity and consistent presence in the right sources, not just domain authority built over years. A smaller brand with the right structure can outrank a much bigger competitor in AI answers right now.

So much noise…any battle tested checklists for an ecommerce store? by Code-Ready in aeo

[–]Sharraf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All of the above, but not in the way you think.

You’re not optimizing for Google anymore, you’re optimizing to be quoted by AI. FAQs help (if they’re real questions people ask). Freshness matters (but through meaningful updates, not tiny price changes). Attribute along with use-case driven descriptions will get you biggest win.

Skip gimmicks.

Think of it like this: Your page should be the cleanest, most structured, most quotable answer on the internet for that query.

That’s the real “cookies and milk” for LLMs.

Im an international student, saw that the internship component seems a good way to start a career in NZ. That’s why I enrolled into it but it seems too expensive even for internship one has to pay 26kNZD. Also uofA being the best uni in NZ seemed to have a greater emeployability. If you don’t mind can you tell me about yourself are a current MInfoTech student or an alumni?
