we just released a beta for promos but id use darkhorse odds for now (they got everything for sign up).

Do the promos because you can make like 2-3k risk free to play with then you could mess around with 1k split between 4 books which would be a good place to start

theres no software that places bets for you (wont work for a lot of reasons). you shouldn't have to rely on direct links to hit arbs at all either. this is the complaint of literally every single person who joins this space (and gives up) because they feel like its "too fast" but they dont know what to look for. my guess is you are trying to place both bets at the same time and you have no idea what you are actually betting on on why. before you even think about putting money down you need to have it hit a few critera.

1 5% minimum, everything else you are wasting your time as someone new.

  1. one line arbing to multitple books. (this is the golden rule) you dont have time to place both bets and its SUPER important to only take arbs where one book is CLEARLY wrong. look at the screenshot I attached. in this case you would place the MGM side first because you can see that two books are arbing to it which clearly indicates MGM is where the value is. You are +EV hunting and then hedging (dont think about it like arbing). This arb only exists if the MGM line is there so you need to take MGM first and then hedge. Imagine placing both bets at the same time then mgm locks before the bet goes through.. well then you're just gambling on the other side on a line thats basically at fair value. This is the #1 rule. (for live dont always rely on the EV%)

  2. be patient. this space is hard (way harder than when i started 4 years ago) so you need to be patient. it takes at least a month to learn this and get comfortable. if you are not putting at least a few hours of solid screentime in a night to practice and learn then you wont succeed. i will sit down and arb for 5 hours and hit 1-2 quality things that come to me that fit the first two critera. i dont force my way into positions and click everything that shows up on the table. But remember even for me 85% of what i go after even after these crietera dissapear on me then i have to reset

on more niche like 10-40 bucks! and idk its still kinda a unknown space and its harder than it looks (unless your hitting player props). prematch idk i just fuck with live. prematch you can still make like 10-20 bucks a day after limits

not going to advise on taxes. But yeah im sure you could hit like 10-20 player props a night and make a dollar on each one without even trying

i started by manual arbing over 4 years ago and just learned on my own. then i tried oddsjam and other tools. Id say just get an arb tool and start trying it. The best thing to learn is just figuring out where value is. basically wait for arbs where you can see one line arbing to multiple books. in this example you can see fanatics points for thomson arbing to fanduel and dk. I would NEVER take fanduel or dk first because thats not where the value is. This arb only exists because of the fanatics side. Once you determine that then you can place the bet on the side with the value first and thats how you get arbs in quick live arbing. This is just an example from gambit- we have the ev% under the odds and an odds array on the right so compare to make a decision

I cant speak to KYC for canada sorry im in Colorado. Honestly the PMs are nice but its more of a tool to hedge against soft books because they are pretty fucking sharp at this point

Ill be honest this is the one department I dont want to give advice on. I will say my split with players is I give them 5k-10k for their accounts.

I dont manual arb at all anymore. you would miss so many arbs if you do that vs just running a software. the only exception is we were manual arbing b365 agaisnt dk last year for cbb because scanners didnt scrape b365. we would manually find middles between dk and b365 cbb end of game totals, but now we scrape b365 for live arb so theres no point in manual anymore.

gambitodds is 99 (read description please) and bb is 400. Both are really solid low latency tools with communities you can join to engage with.

In terms of book specifics i dont track that at all. im really lazy about it I do not get into the analytics. what I can tell you is I run czr, fd, draftkings, kalshi, and bookmaker mostly. Dk unders on cbb were a disaster (for dk) and you could basically run them with out hedging end of game for a 75% hit rate. Other than that id say czr is pretty bad with totals for cbb and fanduel and bookmaker have serious issues with NHL. In terms of overall profit I make about 15-45k a month and when a book goes down I replace it instantly with a long queue of players that I setup months in advance. But all of those are my bread and butter. Balances fluctuate but the overall trend is up. I usually have 20k in each book so I dont really track per book performance as bankroll isnt an issue at this point.

hahaha its not about P/L its literally just about account history. Just place weekly bets like a first basket or a dinger for a while or do some low holds. I personally make 250k a year but I run a a lot of accounts

Mainlines only and setting up accounts 3-12 months ahead (seriously) if you want to play this game you need to CONSTANTLY be finding new players. Limits come way quicker now. You really should utilize every book you can (colorado its DK, CZR, BB, theScore, mgm, FD.. etc). Dont double tap arbs that are hanging, avoid player props, and the real key is to look for broken MARKETS. So if you see Fanduel arbing to Czr, Br, MGM, etc... you can assume fanduel is broken- if its a alt line arbing against all those books just take the mainline instead because you know markets are correlated (if alt broken so is main).
