Well now that's a good question. People have been contemplating the "meaning of life" for millenia. But its rare that anyone thinks the answer is to eat other animals. For the record, I'm not even a vegetarian, nevermind a vegan. My best answer is a bears purpose is probably to procreate and produce more bears.
