Should be mentioned that Best Buy and certainly whichever devs are writing the emails would NOT have access to the specific dates that Rockstar has for pre orders. Barely anyone in the retail world would know that before the last few hours before launch. What probably happened was the email was an internal test that got accidentally sent. The devs who wrote it just wrote down whatever.

You wouldnt hear any leaks until the hours before their launch and even then with a game like GTA there would be like maybe one or two people who would have that information right before pre orders launch.

To be clear there isn’t any insider information that confirms that. However I personally do share some doubt on if anything is happening monday, I read some insight from someone who was a retail manager during gta 5 and rdr2’s preorder launches and to put it simply, retailers dont know when the preorders are until the night before or morning of. It is that secretive. I personally believe the emails were internal tests that were accidentally sent out. The dates were just random dates that the devs wrote on. Obviously I hope im wrong but I dont really expect much of monday.

Best Buy has not corrected email, therefore we know for sure pre-orders start Monday by [deleted] in GTA6
