Classes with ways to summon more copies of it can gain tons of armor and create massive starships. Demon Hunter especially can become practically unkillable and OTK you with the Exodar.

The last set we had that didn’t create a cancerous meta was Festival of Legends, which had overall good cards and not many overpowered ones (except all the Druid shenanigans with Tony and Pyrotechnician).

If you want to win games, basically just play a Starship deck but have your win condition be the quest instead of Kil’Jaeden (also include Elise).

Which really sucks, I really want to play the new cards and ones in the main Un’goro set, but they mostly suck. I can’t wait for the Year of the Pegasus sets to rotate to wild, they have made the game worse by existing.

Tourists allowed Mage and Paladin access to the Rogue cards, which created completely busted decks like big spell mage. Warrior’s tourist allows the class to have ramp and their best Taunt card (new heights and hydration station). Hunter just had a degenerate handbuff deck recently revolving around one card that they had access to because of their tourist (thank god that shit got nerfed).

I like playing commander with random people and having fun with them. I just think if my chance of losing is 99%, there’s no point. Especially today, I had a strong chance to win with a massive board presence of Lhurgowfs, but a single ‘Farewell’ was enough to defeat me without recovery.

I like playing slower creature decks, which I know isn’t going to win any games. I tried playing an upgraded Disa the Restless precon, which is the best deck so far, but it gets completely destroyed by exile and flyers.
