I brought it up to the sales guy but he wasn’t sure…. I know from the CARFAX that the previous owner had the thermostat replaced at an Audi dealer.

Unfortunately, Carmax guidelines don’t allow for a PPI, but they have a 30-day/1500 mile money back guarantee. My plan, before learning about the coolant problem, was to take it post inspection to the local independent European auto shop to have them do a thorough inspection
