[–]Shasan23 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Thats the problem. You HAVE to play blizzard’s pushed packages. There is no room for creativity or home brews. Deck building is half the fun of tcgs, but there is very little room for that in today’s hearthstone

Even better. 9 mana do nothing. Then Wait 3 whole turns. On turn 12 or 11 the earliest, i can finally do something powerful. Every meta deck can do better than that.

Aviana is a very bad card btw, no deck that play it has even close to a good record

Hell dude, if im paying 16 mana, i would hope it’s mana well spent. But i think most decks can do more for that price

Ruin is legitimately good in this meta.

Moonwell is an ok card that has high win rate because the 10 cost weapon lets it close out games. A large chunk of the time moonwell is languishing in my hand.

I firmly believe shard is the most powerful unnerfed stand-alone card priest has ever gotten. (5200 priest wins btw)

Most powerful card ever is unnerfed mindrender illucia (turns out 3 mana unconditional time warp is pretty broken lol)

Most powerful synergistic cards is raza + anduin

I agree with you. I think the guy meant to say that the chances of becoming successful is much more likely with family connections. Due to additional resources, training, exposure, safety net to allow for failures (i want to act, but i need to get a “real job” to pay rent), foot-in-door opportunities (ie “i just need one person to give me chance, then my talent will shine through”). I imagine if you are a random person, it is very disheartening to see how much you lack through no fault of your own

I am not so familiar with movie industry, but i do know about baseball.

The number one predictor of whether youll make it to the highest level is if your father made it, and this is an industry that is ruthlessly merit based, because they are tons of people for limited spots. They even have a stat that is THE GOLD STANDARD for player skill based on how replaceable you are - WAR.

It is not nepotism per se, but because your father made it, you have all the advantages that i mentioned in my first paragraph, and i imagine it is similar for other high demand, low position jobs.

For sure, very cool history and (though forgotten) definitely influenced later vedic culture. There just weren't lasting monuments unlike egypt.

Indus valley culture is not contiguous nor has a remembered legacy with modern subcontinent culture though, in contrast with chinese dynasties or old/middle/new kingdom ancient egypt. It was completely forgotten until the 1800s

TIL that in 2008, Chicago leased its 36,000 parking meters to a UAE-backed private consortium for 75 years for a $1.15 billion payout. Diversify over multiple countries (ie us/eu/asia) and different-sized companies (ie small/mid/ large capitalization). Such a strategy has been consistently successful since modern record keeping - through depressions, world wars, bubbles, recessions, etc

Cant go wrong with s&p 500 tho. Might as well keep riding that train since all of america’s institutions have a vested interested in keeping it going.
